For a free phone, a 20-year old man changed his name to "iPhone 7" in Ukraine

A man originally named Olexander Turin has legally changed the name his parents gave him to "iPhone 7."

Wonders, like they say, will never end and we have come across another example of why this is true.
In Ukraine, a man originally named Olexander Turin has legally changed the name his parents gave him to "iPhone 7" because of Apple's latest smartphone, which has the same name.

Here's the backstory: A company in Ukraine ran a campaign in which they offered people a free iPhone 7 if they would change their name to "iPhone 7".
Apparently, Mr Turin saw the ads and decided to take the company up on their offer. The 20-year old man promptly gave up his birth name and is now legally known as "iPhone Sim" (Sim means Seven in Ukraine's local language).

    Talk about inspiration.
The Associated Press caught up with his sister to find out what may have encouraged such lunacy. His sister, Tetyana Panina, said, “It was difficult to accept that and hard to believe it’s true. Each person in this world is looking for a way to express himself. Why not do that in this way?
After the name change, Turin took the certificate to the company and has since been given a black iPhone 7.
